An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Oyo State and House of Representatives hopeful for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon. Bolaji Saheed Badmos, has congratulated Her Excellency; Chief(Mrs) Florence Fatima Ajimobi following her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria.
Badmos described the appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a well-deserved recognition of Mrs. Ajimobi’s years of dedication, loyalty, and contributions to public life.
In a statement made available to journalists, the APC chieftain said the nomination has been widely received with pride and admiration, particularly among political stakeholders and residents of Oyo State.
He noted that Mrs. Ajimobi’s appointment also serves as a continuation of the enduring legacy of her late husband, Abiola Ajimobi, whose administration he said left significant marks in governance and urban development in the state.
According to Badmos, Mrs. Ajimobi has remained a respected figure in the political and social landscape of Oyo State, earning recognition for her composure, leadership qualities, and commitment to humanitarian causes.
