A House of Representatives Aspirant, for Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency, under the flagship of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Benjamen Akomolafe, has called on members of the party in Ekiti State to be united, focused with an unwavering dedication to build a stronger and more vibrant PDP.
Hon. Akomolafe disclosed this while addressing party members in Ekiti State following the outcome of the just concluded Gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
He said the outcome of the election which favoured the opposition and ruling All Progressives Congress Party in Ondo State should not weary members of the PDP as he expressed an assurance that his political party will bounce back and be stronger.
“The outcome of yesterday’s election in Ondo State may have left us feeling disheartened, but I urge every one of us to remain hopeful.” He said.
“Our party’s spirit is one of resilience and determination.
“Tough times like this are not unfamiliar, and we must rise above the challenges to emerge stronger.”
The House of Representative Aspirant, Hon. Akomolafe, said the present moment calls for renaissance and reflection as he urged members of the party to draw valuable lessons from the Ondo election.
He charged them to redirect their energy toward strengthening the Ekiti State’s chapter of the PDP.
Akomolafe urged party members not to see the setbacks as defeats, rather as an opportunity to sharpen their strategies, reinforce members’ resolve and stay inspired by the shared vision of a brighter and greater Ekiti.
“As we prepare for our congresses, it is essential to close ranks and remain steadfast.” He stated.
“Our journey toward recovery is already underway, and we must approach the coming days with renewed vigour and determination.
“We should also brace ourselves for more challenges, tribulations, and potential disappointments. But let us not be distracted. Our commitment to a better Ekiti must remain unwavering.
“Together, we will overcome every obstacle and secure victory in our elections.” He added.
