Legislation is more than attending sessions, giving speeches, or voting on bills. At its core, it is the process of making laws, scrutinising policies, and ensuring governance delivers real impact to the people.
True legislators are those who understand how to craft, review, and influence laws, oversee government actions, and ensure that policies benefit their communities. In Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Hon. Ibraheem Kunle Olarewaju has consistently demonstrated this standard.
During his tenure in the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023, Hon. Olarewaju distinguished himself as a legislator who delivered results both in Abuja and at home. On the national level, he actively contributed to debates on key bills affecting education, health, and youth development.
He participated meaningfully in committees, ensuring that legislation was carefully examined, amended where necessary, and aligned with the best interests of his constituents. He was never a passive member of the House; his legislative interventions were practical, informed, and impactful.
Equally important, Olarewaju ensured his constituency felt the impact of his work. Between 2019 and 2023, he spearheaded several initiatives that improved the lives of the people of Ekiti North II, including:

His current role as Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters demonstrates the continued trust placed in his legislative and governance expertise.
The position requires mastery of legislative procedures, constitutional principles, and the delicate balance of executive–legislative relations skills Olarewaju has proven he possesses.
As 2027 approaches, Ekiti North II faces a clear choice: experiment with untested representatives or return a proven legislator who knows the law, understands the legislative process, and has a record of service that speaks for itself.
