A House of Representatives aspirant for Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency, Prince Mobolaji Johnson Adeyeye, has called on residents of the constituency to embrace the New Year with renewed hope, unity, and confidence in leadership, while canvassing sustained support for the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
In a New Year message made available to journalists on Thursday, Adeyeye extended his greetings to the people of Oye and Ikole Local Government Areas, describing them as resilient, hardworking, and peace-loving citizens whose perseverance remains vital to the progress of Ekiti State.
He noted that the beginning of a new year provides an opportunity for reflection, recommitment, and collective resolve to address social and economic challenges facing communities at both the state and national levels.
According to him, optimism and cooperation among stakeholders are essential ingredients for development.
Adeyeye used the occasion to commend the leadership style of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, whom he praised for his calm, inclusive, and development-focused approach to governance.
He said the governor’s administration has continued to demonstrate commitment to people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, and the promotion of peace and stability across the state.
According to the aspirant, Oyebanji’s leadership philosophy, which emphasizes consultation, continuity, and accountability, has helped strengthen public trust in government and reposition Ekiti State on the path of steady progress.
“The leadership of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji reflects a deep understanding of governance as service,” Adeyeye said.
