The Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, is set to recognise Barr. Yemi Ayeni for his exemplary leadership in contemporary Nigeria with positive impact on the vast majority of people.
The accolade will be bestowed on the illustrious son of Oye-Ekiti by Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) on Thursday, 20th February, 2025, at the 9th convocation ceremony of the Institution in appreciation of his enormous contributions to the growth of the society.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Special Meritorious Service Award of Outstanding Performance in Youths and Community Development to deserving personalities in Nigeria will be presented to Barr. Ayeni on behalf of the Senate, staff and students of the University.
Barr. Ayeni’s track record of service to humanity has over the years been portrayed through his tireless philanthropic gesture.
Despite being privileged to have travelled far and wide in search and acquisition of knowledge, Barr. Ayeni has remained humbled and committed to lifting many youths and underprivileged Nigerians from grassroots to the path of greatness.
