Nigeria records 1,368 fresh cases in 19 states, FCT

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 1,368 more cases of COVID-19 in 19 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The health agency made the announcement on Monday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.

This brings the total number of cases in the country since 2020 to 225,255 with 2,985 deaths while about 211,660 have been successfully treated.

It had reported that the agency on Monday night, announced that the country has entered its fourth wave of the disease following the recent surge in cases.
